MC Southwest Roadtrip Days 16 & 17 - The Grand Staircase and Zion National Park
Our version of The Arch De Triumph.
The plan for today was to check out the Grand Staircase to look for slots.
Hiking slots with running water. Just plain awesome.
Chasing waterfalls.
Most places worth going to usually involve a dirt road of some sort.
We were exhausted from the hike so it's a good thing that exploring Bryce Canyon doesn't require much physical exertion. Just drive the loop and stop off at scenic viewpoints. Perfect for our cranky kids.
Black & White always makes things more dramatic.
The Natural Bridge.
Rainbow Point.
Stopped by the Thunderbird Cafe and had a slice of their delicious ho-made Thunderberry Pie.
The Zion Ponderosa Ranch is major fun and very family friendly. Tons of activities like swimming, ping pong, mini golf, atv rentals, midnight zip lining, and lots more! This is the log cabin we stayed in. Room for 6 adults plus a cozy fire pit in front and only $80 a night (breakfast included).
The beautiful Utah sunset over the Zion Ponderosa ranch.
The secret is out: Zion is f'n awesome
